If you are a man I can think of two very good reasons to take the MMR vaccine, neither of which has anything to do with measles... it actually has to do with the mumps. Of course when people think of mumps they typically think of swollen glands in the face and neck. What they are not thinking of is the 1 in 4 to 1 in 3 chance that mumps will spread one or both of their family jewels causing them to swell up double their normal size. That in itself might actually be slightly humorous if it were not for the fact it feels like you have gotten kicked in the cajones the day before. Oh yeah, and by the way it can take more than a month for the boys to get back to normal.
If that isn't enough reason for a man to get the MMR vaccination nothing is.
