Folks need to stop bowing to the evolutionary priesthood of the world and learn to think for themselves. The universe didn't create anything, it was itself created. That which was needed to bring the universe into existence could not come about ex nihilo. Even assuming a big bang would necessitate the matter and energy to come from somewhere. Either the universe was created from nothing by nothing, from matter and energy with no beginning, which goes against all the physical laws of the universe, or it was brought about by someone to whom those laws don't apply. Matter and energy can neither be created or destroyed, in and of themselves.
